Hostel resting is important
After a long and tiring journey of entire Srinagar and Ladakh, chilling at the hostel esp. on your last day is of utmost importance. I spend the last day of the trip in hostel Lehlavie; either interacting with a writer or with the hostel manager or involving myself with some indoor games or reading books.
20th Aug | Leh:-
Explore Leh Market – A must visit to the market esp. on Sunday where you get to taste the authentic momos and butter tea with great hospitality and a smile.
Also get your Leh journey explicitly mapped out on your tshirt as it is implicitly mapped out on your mind prints. To get a customized one, they would take around 3 days so plan accordingly.

Places to eat – In Leh, please try variety of flavors at Janta fruit ice cream and Apricot cheesecake at Leh café. Even if you miss these places not to worry, do head to Yum Yum café to try Veg Panini, pancakes and assortments of omelettes present. Also try the World garden café in Leh market.

Places yet to be explored by me –
Alchi kitchen – Recommended place for authentic Leh cuisine, though I didn’t get time to try it out, but one should really try Ladakhi platter there.
Alchi Monastery – While coming from Kargil to Leh, you can also halt at the oldest monastery in the Alchi village. It is adorned with beautiful vintage woodwork and paintings and two temples.
