Writing is not a easy job…true ! But I believe we all have a writer in each one of us. And also there is never a good or bad writer, your writing can touch someone’s thoughts or emotions, based on one’s experiences and mind wiring. For some Ruskin bond would be the most boring writer & John Grisham, the most exciting one but for some Bond is the most phenomenal writer, in his writing nature does the talking.
When we write, we give clarity to our jumbled thoughts and we understand the emphasis of each and every word we jot down. It happens that the piece may not be relatable to us after some point of time but you never know that piece of writing maybe be apt for thousands of people out their, maybe reading that post they would feel better that there exists someone who feels like them and that no life is perfect.
You can inspire someone by your writing, the word inspiration doesn’t mean here moving mountains. Inspiration can be as small as motivating one to feel better and as big as saving ones life from mental depression.
Writing is rewriting, over and over again. Your first draft looks perfect to you but when you revisit it after sometime you do alterations to the content and its structure. Maybe again when you revisit it, you make some minor additions/deletions in enhancing the content. Writing is an iterative process, the more you revisit your piece of writing you will understand the nuances better.
When I sit down writing, firstly I talk to myself ‘what do i want to write about today’ and then when i feel a particular topic relates to me today I start imagining the topic in my mind, sometimes looking out from the window sill or just closing my eyes for sometime. And then i just open my laptop or a book, whichever suits the mood and start typing/writing whatever comes to the mind without worrying about grammar, punctuations or spelling mistake. That moment nothing matters I am not in mood to to listen to anyone or anything and only words are talking to me.
