Food trickles through your brain and settles at your heart…
Only a foodie can understand what this says. By foodie I mean not a person who gorges on food but someone who appreciates and has in-depth knowledge of cuisines of different culture and place. All these cuisines are prepared keeping in mind certain set of tradition and practice followed in that particular region.
For all the foodies out there, there is always a particular cuisine that leads to massive “Foodie rush”, a rush where you experience a feeling of excitement and stimulation on having to devour that cuisine while you don’t pay much heed to the company or surroundings associated to it. The situation reaches it to its perfection when that cuisine is right in front of you; freshly prepared with subtle savour of wood smoke and elaborately decorated with chocolate sauce and whipped cream.
I took the first bite; melted like a cheesy cheesecake and smeared like a sweet tooth. I felt that rush,,..”the Foodie rush”,..i kept eyeing till the last bit finished and snatched hurriedly the last left crumbles on the plate. Social awkwardness held me back when I was gathering courage to lick the sauce on my plate. But I found a middle way out, my fingers took charge what my lips would have done and spotlessly cleaned the entire plate.
One of the very finest places to provide “Foodie rush” options around BKC is BKC Dive. The menu was extensive, with global ingredients and dishes and the spread was very lavish. Served with amazing mocktails, I and my friends started off with soup, veg starters, basa fish and non-veg starters. There were a variety of salads too, with a wide array of good quality ingredients. We were especially surprised to see Moroccan Couscous. The amazing veg pasta and stir fried rice added to our delight. For desserts we were again spoilt for choice, there were petite cakes, jalebi- rabdi, fruits, and chocolate brownies galore.
