Prague Top Tips
Understand the culture and then react
Prague, a city where people are very straightforward and outwardly rude; don’t take any blunt statement as offense. And for that matter if someone is really sweet and sugary with you, there is really some big problem 🙂
5th – 7th April | Prague:-
Participate/Watch Czech Marathon – Every year very famous Czech Marathon, around month of May which is very beautifully managed and seems like a grand gala. One can see the promotions a month before the event, at public places like airport and other tourist spots.
Multi-colored streets and hostels – Prague is replete with colorful streets and creative hostels, one of our stays was Old Prague hostel which had vibrant wallpapers depicting streets and houses.

Old Town square- One of the most happening and significant square at Prague. Do pay a visit for the kind of street food they offer, street dance to treat your eyes and street view of famous astronomical clock and multicoloured houses as well as churches around. One of my favourites being; churros, langos, potato fries and many other non-veg options as well.
Strahov Monastery – Do start early for Prague castle as you walk up the castle, it’s a long and beautiful journey and you tend to stop at every nook and corner. By the time you reach Strahov monastery, it might get closed so do research the timings of the monastery in advance. The winery and restaurant near to this, is a must go place for which the winery tour needs to be booked in a day advance. The food served here is utterly mouthwatering, one of my favourites being warm French onion soup and red hot wine.

Shop collection- Observe and you will understand their culture better. One of the things I could catch is Prague believes in evil spirit and methods of evading it. For that matter, they celebrate April 30th is witch burning day to ward off everything evil and demon. One more unique thing I could catch is bovine beauty in the city. Shops had cows on the glass wall and there was also a cow parade brightening up the streets.
