Venice Top Tips
Bask in the same place
Venice, City of Typewriters and Canals, you will be astonished to see the water taxi traffic and people coming out to lift your heavy luggage willingly. Don’t fall in prey, thinking it’s a free help as they would nag you till you don’t end up paying € 5- € 10. Also, if you have lesser days, stay at the same location rather than shifting hotels/hostels.

Hotel Villa Stucky – More than travelling to tourist places in Venice, I would recommend to just a day or two here and relax in this beautiful villa with a flowery garden and elegant carriage. This villa is not exactly in Venice, it is in Treviso, which is around a one hour drive from Venice. Also, I would recommend to take a day pass for all the transports.

Gondola ride – NOT a must try at Venice, Exorbitantly priced € 80 for half an hour ride. I would recommend to take a day pass for water taxi instead and cover the narrow streets by foot.

Night life – Enjoy a walk near the canal, you might also get to see the night marathon run by hundreds of people.
Venetian Masks – Place famous for unique collection of masks. Even the Carnival of Venice, an annual festival held is famous worldwide for its elaborate masks.
Gnocchi – Best gnocchi to be tasted in Venice, they are soft dough dumplings made from potatoes and cheese.
Vino Bianco – Just head to the supermarket and try this wine, neatly packed in a tetra pack. This € 1 wine can give you a happy head buzz for 10-12 hrs.
