Hostel policies- Be aware of hostel policies, as we had booked two hostels and due to luggage issues, we decided to continue our stay in legends hostel. They smartly told us they cannot continue us in the same 6 bed dorm and hence proposed us to shift to pricey 4 bed dorm. As the check in timings were 2 pm, they told us to move our luggage to the luggage room for which they charged us on an hourly basis. Helplessly we end up paying way more and adding to the sufferings, the other hostel debited our entire stay amount from the credit card in spite of sending cancellation mail one day in advance
Supermarket food- Try supermarket blackberries, bananas, eggs and milk to complete your breakfast miserly:)

Roman street culture- Take time to stop and enjoy the roman street culture, be it violinist playing in front of the Pantheon or the artist sketching at the Spanish steps.
Pinocchio- From a wooden puppet to dreaming of becoming a real boy, Pinocchio. My childhood hero who kept me distracted from fear of stethoscope and needles and rejuvenated my trip of Rome.
Masking- Roman masks play an important part in ancient Roman plays and theatres, portrayed exaggerated expressions and allowed actors to play multiple roles. Observe shops having unique collection of masks.

Vatican City- Take a day tour to Vatican city, we had booked online tickets to avoid the queues, but I could hardly find any difference between waiting time for both. Sistine chapel is worth the time, though a tiring long walk with no breaks to sit in between, so be mentally prepared.
