BritRail pass is beneficial
Buy a BritRail pass if you are traveling in the UK to quite a lot of places. This would save both your money and time. The additional benefit of buying this pass is you get 2for1 offers for the major attraction sites in London, Brighton, and Edinburgh.
Day 3 | 14th May | Brighton:-
Brighton, an hour journey from London, we caught a direct train from St Pancras International station, which is a min walk to Kings Cross underground station. The frequency of the train is quite good and you can use google maps to check the timings as well.
Best time to visit – Visit Brighton in the months of summer as the weather is soothing, not too cold neither too hot. Also, September is the best month as temperatures are mild. In case you traveling in the winter months, do stuff with quilted jackets and umbrella, incase of rains.
Brighton Royal Pavilion is a must – The Royal pavilion depicted the lavish lifestyle of King George IV and the entire architecture, right from chandeliers to carpets were very beautifully designed.
On reaching the pavilion, the person at the ticket desk, guided us to print our 2for1 vouchers (that we had received complimentary on the BritRail pass from the nearby library. It left me flabbergasted on the massiveness of the public library and systematic approach in getting a printout too. Later I learned Jubilee library is the largest public library serving the entire population of Brighton and Hove. We got 1-hour of free internet access on their computer and charge of 20 cents/page for the printout.
Skip Sea life Centre – It was a disappointment, expected it to me humongous but it turned out to be just a better version of the Indian Tarapora aquarium. Though managed to get some nice clicks out of the limited school of sea creatures.
Also as you enter the Centre they click a picture of you which is edited in the background of Sea corals and other sea builders. This can be bought at the exit at the cost of £ 12 onwards, depending on the size and frame you choose.
The cost for the both these places seemed really costly (Royal Pavilion: £ 15 / per adult, Sea Life Centre: £ 28 / per adult) but with the Britrail pass we could download 2for1 voucher, which is still affordable.

Brighton Palace Pier- A leisure pier replete with fairground rides, indoor play area and famous fish & chip restaurant. Children can spend hours playing as well as parents can relax sipping a coffee at the café.
British airways i360- We regret missing British airways i360 as their last batch is around 4:45 pm and we were 20 mins late. It gives you the entire scenic view of Brighton and London from there.
